Celebrating Books And Authors

Dozens of writers will fill the atrium of 
Birmingham’s Central Library
 on Saturday, April 28th
 when Birmingham Public Library hosts its 3rd annual
 ALABAMA BOUND: A BOOK AND AUTHOR FAIR
  celebrating Alabama authors and their publishers. Bring family and friends, meet your favorite authors, buy their books, and hear them read from and talk about their work. Book signings will follow each presentation. 
 It’s all FREE and open to the public!

Join Sena Jeter Naslund who wrote the highly praised Ahab’s Wife; Melinda Haynes, author of the “Oprah pick” Mother of Pearl; Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Rick Bragg;  James Redfield, author of the best-selling Celestine Prophecy;  Charles “Father Goose” Ghigna—plus more than 40 others!
 While you’re downtown, take in  the 18th annual 
Magic City Art Connection
in Linn Park,
  adjacent to the library. Come early and stay late.
