Thomas Allison
Thomas R. Allison grew up near Montgomery, Alabama, in the rural Cecil community. He graduated from Huntingdon College and did graduate work at Tulane University. Later he obtained a degree from Jones School of Law. He taught school briefly in Talladega, Alabama, and in 1955 became a U.S. Treasury Agent. He resigned from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in 1979 to become an Alabama Assistant Attorney General. He is now retired and lives in Montgomery with his wife, Harriet. (book jacket)
