Chandra Sparks-Taylor

"Chandra Sparks-Taylor is a writer, substitute teacher and editor. She is the middle child of three siblings from Birmingham, Alabama. After living in New York and working as a magazine and book editor, Taylor returned to live in Birmingham with her daughter, Jessica (to whom "The Pledge" is dedicated). Strong family is a theme of Taylor's books. The next in the "Worth the Wait" series will be published in 2010 and follows main character  Courtland as she enters her senior year of high school."
