P.S. Davis attended Ringling School of Fine Arts in Sarasota, Florida, and has degrees from Gulf Park College in Gulfport, Mississippi, Troy State University in Troy, Alabama, and Rochester Institute of technology in Rochester, New York. She has studied with Lilo Raymond and Craig Stevens at the Maine Photographic Workshop in Rockport, Maine. Her photographs have been exhibited at the Birmingham Museum of Art, the Artist’s Gallery of the Alabama state Council on the Arts in Montgomery, The Alabama Works on Paper International Invitational Exhibition, The Photographers showcase at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and the Red Clay Survey at the Huntsville Museum of Art. She has had a one-woman show at the Malone Gallery at Troy, Alabama, and at Sac’s Gallery in Montgomery.

P.S. Davis’s photographs have appeared in The Alabama Literary Review, the cover of the 1998 New Stories from the South: The Year’s Best (Ravenel, Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill), and, most recently, in Southern Dogs & Their People (Davis/Gamble, Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill). Davis and teaches visual arts at Greenville High School and art appreciation at Lurleen B. Wallace Junior College in Greenville, Alabama. (The Author)
