Peter Huggins

Peter Huggins teaches in the English Department at Auburn University, where he has been Director of the Writing Center and Director of Prelaw. Over 200 poems appear in 100 journals, magazines, and anthologies, including Atlanta Review, Colorado Review, Cumberland Poetry Review, The Laurel Review, Mid-American Review, Negative Capability, New Virginia Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Southern Poetry Review, The Texas Review, and Zone 3. He has been a Tennessee Williams Scholar at the Sewanee Writers' Conference and has won the Dickinson Review Prize for Poetry.  Hard Facts, a book of poems, was published by Livingston Press/University of West Alabama in 1998. Two poems from that collection were nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
