Julia Oliver
Julia Oliver is the author of the novels Music of Falling Water, Goodbye to the Buttermilk Sky and Devotion. Her latest book Devotion, published by the University of Georgia Press, is a fictionalized biography of Jefferson Davis’ daughter Winnie. This well-researched novel tells the short and tragic life of Winnie Davis, know as the “Daughter of the Confederacy.” Oliver has also written a collection of short stories and her plays have been produced on stage. Julia Oliver lives in Montgomery, Alabama.
