Christopher MacGregor Scribner
Chris Scribner teaches history at the Indian Springs School. A former City Hall reporter at the Birmingham News and the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville, Scribner received his Ph.D. in history at Vanderbilt University and earned a B.A. in history from Princeton University. Scribner's essays have been published in: Mobile: A History of Alabama's First City, 1702-2002; Trial and Triumph: Reading in Tennessee's African-American History; The New Deal and Public Policy; American National Biography; Encyclopedia of Historians and Historical Writing; The Chronicle of Higher Education; and The Alabama Review.
