Tom Stoddard
Tom Stoddard was raised in Magnolia Springs, Alabama, attended Troy State College, and is a 1960 graduate of the University of Alabama. He worked as a reporter and sports writer in Tuscaloosa and Atlanta, and served three years in the U.S. Navy. He returned to writing as a profession in 1994, following his retirement from a senior public-relations position at BellSouth Telecommunications. (Turnaround cover)
